General information
The third conference “OPTOMETRY IN SERBIA” will be held May, 24 – 25th, 2019 at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad. The organizers of the Conference are Faculty of Sciences and association “OPTOMETRIST”
In Serbia today are active in their professional work more than one hundred optometrist who obtained their professional knowledge at the studies of optometry at the Faculty of Sciences in Novi Sad. As all professions, OPTOMETRY demands permanent education and elusiveness. This Conference is the only one in Serbia that offers this in Serbia, not only in the field of OPTOMETRY, but also in ophthalmology that is closely tied with optometry.
Lectures of eminent domestic and foreign specialists attendants will approach state of art knowledge in the fields of refraction, contact lenses, new materials instruments, education, as well as contemporary trends in the field of ophthalmology. Workshops as a part of the Conference give opportunity to attendants to upgrade their practical knowledge.
Besides, important goal of the Conference is affirmation of the profession OPTOMETRIST in Serbia and definition of its legality.
Posters and Contributions
Scientific and professional results can be presented at poster session. The text of presented contributions will be published on-line at the official Conference site.
Template for posters can be found in instructions for the posters. The format for posters is B1 (707×1000 mm)
The text of presented contributions is limited to 2 pages and should be prepared according to the instructions.
